Do you ever get those days when you just seem to get on the wrong side of your wife?
I do and unfortunately today just happened to be one of those days.
I arrived home from work at 5pm, as I usually do, only to find that this wasn’t one of her better days.
You know how you can just sense an atmosphere as soon as you walk in the front door, sometimes you can even sense the bad vibes before you even open it. We have all been there, right?
Well, lately, it seems that pretty much no day is one of her better days, if you know what I mean. Nothing I said or did today seemed to be right.
So, after a couple of hours without things having changed for the better, I suggested to her that I go outside, pretend that I had just got home, and we start all over again.
My wife agreed.
So, I went outside, came back in and with a big smile I announced, “Honey, I’m home!”
“And just where have you been?” she replied sharply. “It’s after seven o’clock!”
