Six wise, blind elephants were standing by their favourite watering hole one day, discussing what humans were like.
They almost always failed to agree with each other in any way whatsoever, so they decided to determine what humans were like by direct experience.
So, off the elephants went, tramping through the jungle (visualise the Dawn Patrol from the Jungle Book movie) and eventually they came across a human, who was tending to his crops on the outskirts of a man village.
The first wise, blind elephant went up to the human, felt him and declared, “Humans are flat.”
The other wise, blind elephants, after similarly feeling the human, couldn’t help but agree with the first one.
