Mrs. O’Connor and her little daughter Maria were outside their local church watching a wedding, with the guests coming and going, all dressed in their finery.
After the wedding photographs had been taken and everyone had driven off to the reception, Maria turned and asked her mother, “Why did the bride change her mind, Mommy?”
“How do you mean, change her mind?” her mother asked, puzzled.
“Well”, young Maria said, “she went into the church with one man and came out with another!”
Ah the joys of young children, what they take notice of and what comes out of their mouths.
