Little Jenny was playing in the garden when she spotted two spiders mating in the grass.
“Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?” she asked.
“They’re mating, Jenny” he replied.
Jenny went closer so she could get a better look at what the two spiders were doing in the grass.
“What do you call the spider on top, Daddy?” Jenny asked him.
“Oh, that’s a Daddy Longlegs dear”, her Daddy replied.
Jenny asked him, “Oh, so one’s a Daddy Longlegs and the other one is a Mommy Longlegs?”
Daddy replied, “No sweetie, both of them are Daddy Longlegs”.
Jenny thought for a moment, then took her foot and stamped on them and squished them flat.
“Well, we’re not having THAT sort of thing in our garden!” she said.
