The novice golfer hit a wicked slice off the tee at the first hole. It shot up in the air, ricocheted through the trees and onto the next fairway, narrowly missing another golfer.
When he got to his ball, the novice was greeted by the angry golfer, who let him know that he had just missed him, not sparing any words or emotion and really ripping into him.
“I’m very sorry”, the novice golfer said, “I didn’t have time to holler fore”.
“That’s funny”, the angry golfer replied, “you had plenty time to holler SHEET!”
