The stop light turned yellow right in front of him, so he did the right thing and stopped at the intersection, even though if he really had a mind to, he could have beaten the red light by accelerating and speeding through the intersection.
The woman who was driving behind him and who had been right on his tail, got really angry and started honking her horn.
She was livid, screaming at him in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection and in the process she also dropped her phone on the floor because she was busy talking to a friend.
While she was in the middle of her tantrum, she heard a tap on her window and looked up to see a very serious police officer standing there.
The officer ordered her to get out of the car with her hands up.
He put handcuffs on her, then took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed and placed in a holding cell.
After a couple of hours, a police office went to the cell and opened the door.
The woman was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.
He said, “I’m very sorry for this mistake madam. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you and throwing a tantrum. I noticed the ‘What Would Jesus Do‘ bumper sticker, the ‘Choose Life‘ license plate holder, the ‘Follow Me to Sunday School‘ bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, so I came to the conclusion you had stolen the car”.
