Three old men were sat talking about life, and the discussion turned to the best thing that each one thought could happen to them.
Life gets hard when you get older, and the three of them had been in their care home for a few years, and had now become good friends.
The 80-year-old man said, “The best thing that could happen to me, would just to be able to have a good pee. Every time that I feel the need to go, I stand there for 20 minutes, and it just dribbles, and it hurts. I have to go over and over again.”
The 85-year-old man said, “Well, the best thing that could happen to me, is if I could have just one good bowel movement. I take every kind of laxative I can get my hands on, but every day when I have to go, it’s still a problem.”
Finally, the 90-year-old man said, “Well, I don’t have either of those problems. Every morning at 6am sharp, I have a good long pee. Then At 6:30am on the dot, I have a great bowel movement. The best thing that could happen to me, would be if I could wake up before 7am!”
