While he was out jogging in the park one morning, a man found a brand new tennis ball on the ground.
He looked all around him and seeing that nobody else was in sight, he picked the tennis ball up and tucked it into the pocket of his shorts.
Yes we have all done it haven’t we. I bet you have and I know I have a few times. It’s too hard to resist, especially if it’s a nice tennis ball that looks like it’s brand new.
Trouble was, this man was out jogging and only had small pockets in his shorts, so the tennis ball really stuck out like a sore thumb.
Later, on his way home, the jogger stopped at a pedestrian crossing and waited for the lights to change.
A young girl who was standing next to him at the crossing, couldn’t help but notice the rather large bulge in his shorts.
“What’s that?” she asked, pointing at his shorts.
“Tennis ball”, came the breathless reply.
“Oh my gosh”, the girl remarked sympathetically. “That must be very painful. I had tennis elbow once!”
