Paddy and Murphy were working on a building site and Paddy said to Murphy “I’m going to be taking the day off work. Just watch Murphy, I’m going to pretend I’m mad!”
So Paddy climbed up the rafters, hung upside down and shouted “I’M A LIGHTBULB! I’M A LIGHTBULB!”
Murphy meanwhile just stood there and watched in amazement!
The Foreman shouted “Paddy you’re mad, go home you silly bugger”.
So Paddy grabbed his coat and left the building site.
Murphy started packing his kit up to leave as well.
“Where the heck are you going?” asked the Foreman.
“I can’t work in the friggin’ dark!” Murphy replied.
