In school one day, the teacher decided that for science class she would teach her young pupils about raw materials.
She spend most of the lesson explaining to her class what raw materials were and how things were made out of them, then towards the end of the lesson, she stood in the front of the class and said, “Children, if you could have just one raw material in the world, what would it be?”
Little Stevie raised his hand and said “I would want gold Miss, because gold is worth a lot of money and if I had a lot of gold I could buy a Corvette”.
The teacher nodded and next called on little Susie to give an answer.
Little Susie said, “I would want platinum Miss, because platinum is worth more than gold and if I had some platinum, I could buy a Porsche”.
The teacher smiled and then reluctantly called on Little Johnny, whose answers were not always predictable.
Little Johnny stood up and said, “Please Miss, I would want silicon”.
The teacher was puzzled and said, “Johnny, why silicon?”
Little Johnny replied, “Well Miss, it’s because my mom has two bags of it and you should see all the sports cars parked outside of our house!!”
