One Autumn day, Little Johnny and his grandfather were raking leaves out in the yard.
Little Johnny suddenly came across an earthworm as it was exiting from its hole in the ground.
He said, “Hey Grandpa, I bet I can put that worm back in that hole.”
His grandfather replied, “I’ll bet you five dollars you can’t Johnny. It’s too wiggly and limp to put back in that little hole.”
So, Little Johnny ran into the house and came back out with a can of hair spray. He sprayed the worm until it was straight and stiff as a board. Then he put the worm back into the hole.
His grandfather handed Little Johnny five dollars, grabbed the hairspray and ran into the house.
Thirty minutes later his grandfather came back out and handed Little Johnny another five dollars.
“Grandpa, you already gave me five dollars.”
His grandfather replied, “I know Johnny. That’s from your grandma.”
