When old Mrs Weiss was well into her eighties, she decided that she would like to move to Israel.
As part of the preparations for her long journey, she went to see her doctor and get all her medical records.
The doctor asked her how she was doing, so she gave him a full unabridged list of all her complaints. Old Mrs Weiss seemed to go on forever with “this hurts, that’s stiff, I’m more tired and I’m slower than I used to be”, etc., etc., etc.
The doctor responded with, “Mrs. Weiss, you have to expect things to start deteriorating. After all, who wants to live to be 100?”
Mrs Weiss looked him straight in the eye and replied, “Anyone who’s 99!”
