Old Abraham, a Jewish man, had reached the end of his days and was dying. His family had gathered in his bedroom and were all standing around his bed to pay their respects and to be there when he passed over.
Lying there on his deathbed, he looked up and said, “Is my wife here?”
His wife replied, “Yes, dear, I’m here, sitting next to you”.
Old Abraham let out a deep sigh, then asked “Are my children here?”
“Yes, papa, we are all here”, his children responded, all of them were gathered around the bed.
Old Abraham let out another deep sigh, then inquired, “Are my other relatives also here?”
Everybody joined in and said, “Yes, Abraham, we are all here”.
So old Abraham took a deep rattling breath, sat up in bed and yelled out, “THEN WHY IS THE LIGHT ON IN THE KITCHEN?!?”
