A young man had just finished business school and answered a wanted advert for a small business that was looking for an accountant.
He went for a job interview, finding that the person who was interviewing him was a very nervous man who ran the small business, which he had started himself.
“I need someone who has an accounting degree”, the man told him, “but most importantly, I am looking for someone who can do my worrying for me”.
“Excuse me?” the accountant said.
“I worry about a lot of things”, the man said. “But I don’t want to have to worry about money. Your job will be to take all the money worries off my back”.
“I see”, the accountant said. “How much are you looking to pay?”
“I’ll start you at eighty thousand”, the man replied.
“Eighty thousand dollars!” the accountant exclaimed. “That’s a lot of money. How can such a small business like yours afford that sort of money?”
“That”, the owner said, “is your first worry”.
