John and Mary were looking to spent a few days in the hills of North Carolina, but with money being tight, they could only afford to stay in a budget motel that had reasonable room rates.
Having found a reasonable looking place to stay, John called the motel and asked how much they charged for a room.
The clerk told him that the rates depended on room size, and also number of people that would be staying.
“Do you take children?” John asked.
“Sorry sir, but we don’t”, replied the clerk. “We only take cash and credit cards.”
