One day, a father was left to look after his young daughter who was about 2 1/2 years old.
Someone had given her a little tea set for her birthday and it was one of her favourite toys, so while his daughter was happily playing with her favourite toy, her father was in the living room, completely engrossed in watching the evening news.
After a while, his young daughter brought him some tea, served in one of the little tea cups from her tea set.
Her father knew it was just water, but played along as he knew she enjoyed the game and truth be known, it also kept her from perstering him.
After several cups of tea and lots of praise for such delicious tea as well, his wife came home from work.
He made his wife wait in the living room to watch his daughter bring him a cup of tea, because it was just the cutest thing to watch.
His wife waited, while their little girl came down the hall with a cup of tea for her Daddy.
She watched him drink it up, then she said, as only a mother would know, “Did it ever occur to you that the only place she can reach to get water is the toilet?”
You can just imagine the look on his face! I hope they clean their toilet regularly.
