Little Martha was complaining to her mother that she had stomach ache, her stomach was hurting.
Her mother told her, “That’s because your stomach is empty Martha. Maybe you should try putting something in it”.
So, little Martha went and grabbed a cookie and stopped pestering her Mother.
The following day, the pastor was having lunch over at Martha’s house with her family.
The pastor happened to mention in a conversation during lunch that his head was hurting.
Little Martha quickly piped up and said, “That’s because it’s empty. Maybe you should try putting something in it”.
You could have heard a penny drop in the room…
