Billy needed a lawyer, so he searched on Google and picked out an important sounding law firm called “Schwartz, Schwartz, Schwartz & Schwartz”.
He called the law firm up up and asked, “Is Mr. Schwartz in?”
The man who answered said, “No, he’s out playing golf”.
Billy replied, “Ah ok, then let me speak to Mr. Schwartz”.
“He’s not with the firm any more, he’s retired”, the man said.
“Then let me talk to Mr. Schwartz”, Billy asked.
“He’s away in Boston, won’t be back for a month”, was the man’s answer this time.
“Okay, then let me talk to the other Mr. Schwartz”, Billy asked, by this time rather frustrated.
The man replied, “Speaking!”
Some law firms have really interesting names don’t they. I sometimes wonder if you have an unusual surname that you must be destined to be a lawyer. Either that or you are a magnet for people with other odd surnames that go together in an unusual way to make a law firm with a name to remember (or laugh over).
