Isn’t it wonderful how husbands and wives can both complement and insult each other at the same time, especially as they get older and have been married to each other for a number of years.
It’s a wonder how marriages don’t end up as a blood bath the way some people talk to each other.
If you don’t believe me, just take a look at this short story about a not so happily married couple.
One day, a man commented to his wife, “I don’t know how you can be so stupid and so beautiful all at the same time”.
His wife thought for a moment and then responded.
“Allow me to explain husband of mine”, she said. “God made me beautiful so you would be attracted to me. God also made me stupid so I would be attracted to you!”
