I got engaged a while ago and the one thing that bugged me was how much should you spend on an engagement ring.
My fiancée told me that the rule of thumb on how much to spend on an engagement ring was two month’s salary.
So, I moved to Haiti for a couple of months, got a job there as a handyman, working 60 hours a week.
I made $15.75 by the time I returned home.
Got her a lovely plywood ring, no knots. I even sanded it myself.
For some reason she’s not talking to me though. I have no idea what’s wrong…
