A young woman came home from a date looking really sad.
When her mother asked her daughter what was wrong she said, “Charlie asked me to marry him a few minutes ago”.
“That’s wonderful sweetheart”, her mother said, “But you have been out on a lovely date, Charlie proposed to you, so why do you look so sad?”
“It’s because he also mentioned he was an atheist. Mom, Charlie doesn’t believe there is a hell!”
Her mother replied, “Marry him anyway sweetheart. Between the two of us, we’ll show him how wrong he is”.
