An elderly gentleman had suffered with serious hearing problems for a number of years. He had always struggled with his ears and as well as a hissing noise he frequently found it hard to make out different words.
Finally, he went to see his doctor, who examined him and told him that he was eligible to be fitted for a new hi-tech hearing aid that would allow him to hear 100%.
The elderly gentleman was delighted to hear this and went back in a month to the doctor for a check up.
The doctor said, “Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again”.
The gentleman replied, “Oh, I haven’t told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I’ve changed my will three times!”
