Northern Calypso is a classic comedy sketch from Hale and Pace, who made big names for themselves in the 1990’s with their outstanding British humour.
This sketch is a calypso style song that features stereotypical working class British characters from “Up North” in Yorkshire, where (according to the rest of the country) everyone works in coal mines and talks right funny!
