Have you ever stopped to wonder what the topic of conversation might be if a group of clergymen from different religions discussed their religions over a game of golf.
Well, it just so happens that a priest, a minister and rabbi got together every Wednesday to play a round of golf and as usual by the second hole they would start discussing their week.
This particular time, the topic of conversation turned to their weekly collections.
Specifically, they started to compare how they decided what portion of the collection to keep for themselves and what portion to give to God.
The minister explained, “I draw a circle around myself and toss the money in the air. Whatever lands in the circle I keep for myself. What ever lands outside the circle, I give to God”.
The priest then added, “I use a similar method, except that whatever lands in the circle I give to God and whatever lands outside the circle I keep for my personal needs”.
The rabbi then proclaimed, “I use the same method as well, but with a slight difference. When I toss the money in the air, I figure that whatever God wants he can take”.
