There was a full moon on Christmas Eve and it was shining bright over the ocean.
Juan and his wife Maria Elena were spending Christmas at their villa in Cancun on the Mexican Miviera and Juan was out on the balcony watching the full moon rise into the sky and he was chilling out and really getting into the Christmas spirit.
Juan called out to his wife, who was busy in the kitchen, preparing the food ready for their feast on Christmas Day.
“Maria”, he said, “come out here on the balcony and have a look”.
His wife stopped what she was doing and came out onto the balcony to join him.
“Hey, Mamacita”, he said, “let’s do Weeweechu”.
“Oh no, not now, let’s look at the moon, it’s a beautiful full moon”, said Maria Elena.
“Oh, c’mon baby, let’s you and I do Weeweechu. I love you, it’s Christmas Eve and it’s the perfect time”, Juan begged.
“But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon, it’s so romantic”, replied Maria Elena.
“Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me”, Juan pleaded.
Maria Elena looked at Juan and said, “OK baby, if we really must, but just one time, we’ll do Weeweechu”.
So, Juan grabbed his guitar and they both sang……
“Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year”.
