Two friends meet in the street and one of the friends looked rather sad, forlorn and down in the mouth.
Saddened to see his forlorn friend, the other man asked, “Hey Bob, how come you look like your whole world caved in?”
His forlorn friend said, “Well let me tell you Ted. You see, three weeks ago, an uncle died and left me ten thousand dollars as an inheritance”.
“I’m sorry to hear about the death of your uncle”, the first man said, “but that was a bit of good luck for you I suppose”.
“Hold on Ted, I’m just getting started”, the forlorn friend said. “Two weeks ago, a cousin I never knew kicked the bucket and left me twenty thousand dollars as an inheritence”.
“Wow! Well, you can’t be disappointed with that!” Ted replied.
“But, it gets worse Ted”, Bob continued. “Last week my grandfather passed away. I inherited almost one hundred thousand dollars”.
Ted’s jaw dropped in amazement, just trying to comprehend having that kind of money.
“That’s incredible Bob”, he replied. “So how come you look so glum?”
“Well, this week Ted – absolutely nothing!”
