Clarence and his wife were vacationing in Hawaii when a violent earthquake struck the island in the middle of the night.
As soon as morning came, Clarence went down to the hotel lobby to read the newspaper and find out about what had happened during the night.
As he was reading the newspaper, a local gentleman stepped up and asked him if he had felt the earthquake during the night.
“I sure did”, Clarence said. “My wife and I are here on vacation here from the mainland. I have felt other earthquakes, but I have never felt a quake like that one, it was terrible. I thought the building was going to come down on us”.
The local gentleman asked, “Might I ask what were you doing during the earthquake?”
Clarence replied, “Gee, I was having the best sexual performance of my life, right as that earthquake was happening”.
“Is that right?”, the local gentleman replied, astonished. “And what did your wife think about it?”
Clarence said, “Well, it damn near woke her up!”
