Sean was on duty as a reservation clerk for the Irish airline Aer Lingus at Dublin Airport.
Bridget O’Sullivan called the reservations line to ask if a particular flight had departed yet.
While Sean was checking the information for her, one of the office cleaning staff turned on a vacuum cleaner behind him.
“Never mind”, Bridget said. “I just heard it take off” and she hung up.
