A man was feeling ill, he had terrible stomach pains and as much as he hated going to see the doctor, the pains were getting unbearable, so he asked a friend if he could recommend a Doctor of Internal Medicine.
“I know a great Doctor of Internal Medicine”, his friend said, “but the only problem is, he is very expensive. He charges $500 for the first visit and $150 for each visit after that”.
Well, the man was in terrible pain, so despite the cost, he bit the bullet and went to see the doctor to get a physical examination.
Feeling crafty and trying to save himself some money, he greeted the doctor when he entered the examination room with an animated, “I’m back!”
The doctor proceeded to give the man a thorough physical examination, pushing and prodding him everywhere.
“Very good”, he said, when he was finished with the examination. “Just continue with the treatment I prescribed last time”.
