Helen was returning from a trip to visit her grandmother in Canada.
She was driving down the highway when she was stopped by a state trooper in New York for exceeding the speed limit.
She was so grateful that he gave her a warning instead of a ticket, that she gave him a small bag of my grandmother’s delicious chocolate chip cookies, then continued on her way.
A few miles down the road, Helen was stopped by another state trooper.
“What have I done?” she asked.
“Nothing, nothing at all”, the state trooper said, with a smile.
“I heard over the radio that you were passing out the most amazing chocolate chip cookies”.
