The other day I went to the currency exchange bureau as I had some Canadian Dollars that I needed to exchange back into US Dollars.
There was just a short line at the window, in fact there was just one person in front of me.
I thought to myself “this shouldn’t take long”, but just then the Japanese man who was in front of me and who was trying to exchange Yen for Dollars, started to get rather agitated.
He asked the teller, “why it change? yestoday I get two hunat dolla foyen – today I get hunat eighty? Why it change?”
The teller told him, “Fluctuations…”
The Japanese nam replied angrily, “Fluc you Amelicans, too!”
