A young blonde woman went into the office one morning and she was crying her eyes out.
Her boss, naturally concerned about the well being of all his employees, asked her sympathetically, “What’s the matter Tracy?”
The blonde woman replied, “Early this morning I got a phone call to say that my mother had passed away”.
Her boss, feeling very sorry at this point, said to the young girl, “I am so terribly sorry to hear your sda news. Why don’t you go home for the day? We aren’t terribly busy. Just take the day off to relax and rest”.
The young blonde woman very calmly stated, “No, I’m be better off here I think. I need to keep my mind off it and I have the best chance of doing that here at the office working”.
Her boss agreed and allowed the blonde girl to work as usual.
“If you need anything, anything at all, just let me know” he said to her.
Well, a few hours passed and the boss decided to check on her.
He walked over to her cubicle and saw her crying hysterically.
He rushed out to her, asking, “What’s the problem? Are you going to be ok?”
“No, it’s just going from bad to worse”, the blonde woman cried out, sobbing even more. “I just got a call from my sister, she told me that her mother died too!”
