If there is one thing I really struggle with it’s knowing what to buy as a birthday present for the wife. This is one such tale where a husband didn’t have a clue what to get his wife for her birthday…
A few days before her birthday a husband asked his wife, “Darling, what would you like for your birthday present?”
Wife: “I really don’t think I should say”.
Husband: “Well, how about a diamond ring?”
Wife: “You know I don’t care much for diamonds”.
Husband: “How about a fur coat then?”
Wife: “You know I do not like furs.”
Husband: “A golden necklace?”
Wife: “I already have three of those.”
Husband: “Well, I’m really struggling for ideas, what would you like?
Wife: “What I’d really like is a divorce!”
Husband: “Hmmm, I wasn’t planning on spending that much.”
