There had been a series of bank robberies where the same man had robbed the same branch of the same bank three times in the last thirty days.
The FBI, who were in charge of investigating the bank robberies and were trying to prevent a fourth robbery, asked the nervous bank clerk, “Have you noticed anything in particular about the robber?”
“Yes”, the bank clerk replied. “I have noticed that each time the man comes into the bank, he’s much better dressed”.
