Once upon a time there was a golfer, who was well known for his bad temper, being a bad loser and for throwing childish tantrums on the golf course, especially if he had a bad game and his attempts at cheating failed.
One day, prior to a game, he walked into the Pro Shop, and slammed down a large wad of cash on the counter, to cover the cost of a new set of golf clubs.
The staff all waited to see what would happen after he used them for the first time, and more than half expected that he would come storming in after the game and demand his money back.
However, the next time he came in to the Pro Shop he was smiling.
“These are the best golf clubs I’ve ever had,” he said. “In fact, I’ve discovered I can throw them at least 40 yards farther than I could my last ones.”
