Yesterday I went to see the doctor for my annual physical exam, and while I was there he asked me about the level of exercise I had on a regular day.
“Well Doctor”, I began, “I do a lot of walking most days. Yesterday morning, for example, I waded along the edge of a lake and barely escaped from an alligator that was in the heavy brush. After that I marched up and down several rocky hills, stood in a patch of poison ivy, crawled out of quicksand and jumped away from an aggressive rattlesnake.”
The doctor was truly inspired by my story and said, “That is truly remarkable. You must really be an outdoors man!”
“No,” I replied, “I’m just a lousy golfer.”
