One morning, a husband and wife were in the kitchen having an argument during breakfast.
Having had enough fighting for one day, the husband, who was a doctor, got up from the table in a rage, said “And you are no good in bed either” and stormed out of the house, slamming the door behind him.
Several hours later, in between seeing patients, he realised that he had been nasty to his wife and decided to apologise to her.
So, he called her at home on the phone.
After the phone had rung many times, she finally picked up and answered the call.
By this time her husband had become rather irritated again, so he asked, “what took you so long to answer the phone?”
His wife replied, “I was in bed””
“In bed this early, doing what?” her husband asked.
“Getting a second opinion!”
