An eight year old boy was walking down the road one day on the way home from school, when a car pulled over and stopped next to him.
The car window was wound down and then the driver called out to the young boy, “If you get in the car, I will give you $10 and a bar of chocolate”.
The boy refuseed and kept on walking.
A few moments later, not to take no for an answer, the man driving the car pulled over alongside the young boy again.
“How about $20 and two bars of chocolate?”, the driver asked him.
The boy told the man to leave him alone, and kept on walking.
Still further down the road the man pulled over to the side of the road.
“Ok,” he said, “This is my final offer. I’ll give you $50 and all the chocolate and candy you can eat”.
The little boy stopped, went over to the car and leaned in through the window.
“Look,” he shouted to the driver. “You bought the damned Volvo, Dad. You’ll just have to live with it!”
