If you have your own blog or web site and keep finding that spammers leave junk comments on your posts and guestbooks, it gets so frustrating doesn’t it.

A good spam filter (like the Akismet plugin in WordPress) does make life easier by automatically flagging most junk comments as being spam, but if you ever read some of these comments, especially the ones that have been stuffed full of keywords and phrases for the search engines to pick up on, they are fun to read.

I went through my main blog Off The Record With Debbie And Tony and added a selection of the funniest spam comments to a lens on Squidoo called Funny Spam Comments.

I hope you enjoy them.  I annotated them too, and they just make a good fun read.  Maybe you can do something similar to showcase the junk that you receive too.

No doubt by posting this I am going to be receiving a lot more junk in the comment box.  “Bring it on” I say, I can always create more lenses on Squidoo to showcase the funny side of spam…
